RadioFlame FDS303 – Hybrid Wireless Multi-Spectrum IR Flame Detector

RadioFlame FDS303 is a high-performance SS316 hybrid flame detector designed for demanding industrial, marine, energy, offshore, and hazardous area applications where fast flame detection, high reliability, and flexible signal integration are required.

The detector combines advanced multi-spectrum IR flame detection with secure wireless communication, enabling flame alarm, fault, analogue, and diagnostic information to be integrated into Mimes safety and monitoring architectures. The detector is supplied in a robust 316 stainless steel enclosure, providing high durability and corrosion resistance for offshore, marine, and harsh industrial environments.

RadioFlame FDS303 is designed for the detection of hydrocarbon liquid and gas fires at long distances, with fast response and strong immunity against false alarms. The detector includes continuous optical self-test, heated optics for harsh environmental conditions, adjustable sensitivity levels, and a rugged SS316 construction suitable for demanding field installations.

As a hybrid flame detector, RadioFlame FDS303 supports both traditional detector interfaces and wireless communication, giving users flexibility in system design, installation, and retrofit projects. The solution reduces the need for extensive field cabling while maintaining compatibility with industrial Fire & Gas architectures.

RadioFlame FDS303 is designed for hazardous area use and supports international hazardous area approvals including FM, ATEX and IECEx. The detector is built for harsh environments with flameproof protection, high ingress protection, and SIL-capable performance.

RadioFlame FDS303 is well suited for offshore platforms, refineries, petrochemical plants, tank farms, loading racks, LNG/LPG facilities, power generation, tunnels, and other critical fire detection applications.
