ANT-1 Type 300 / Type 300-245 – Ex e Antenna with Extended Mounting Bracket
ANT-1 Type 300 and Type 300-245 are Ex e rated antenna assemblies developed by Mimes for flexible installation of industrial wireless devices in demanding and hazardous area environments. The antenna solution is designed for ISA100, WirelessHART and other 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless applications where reliable communication, simple installation and Ex compliance are required.
The Type 300 variants are supplied as a complete antenna assembly with an extended stainless-steel mounting bracket, pre-terminated antenna cable and connection interface. The bracket provides a robust mechanical solution for positioning the antenna away from cabinets, enclosures, structures or other obstacles that may affect radio performance. This improves installation flexibility and helps achieve better wireless coverage in challenging field conditions.
The ANT-1 design reduces the need for additional Ex barriers or complex antenna protection arrangements. The antenna can be mounted directly using the supplied bracket, supporting Mimes’ design principle of achieving the required function with the lowest practical number of components.
ANT-1 Type 300 and Type 300-245 are suitable for both Mimes wireless products and third-party equipment requiring an Ex e rated external antenna.
