RadioBeacon – Wireless X15 Beacon
The RadioBeacon brings wireless IoT capability to field-mounted visual alarm beacons, allowing the beacon to operate with only local power at the installation point. This significantly reduces the need for field cabling and removes traditional I/O limitations, while enabling flexible integration into industrial Fire & Gas and safety system architectures.
RadioBeacon is a SIL-capable wireless beacon solution with cybersecurity designed into the core. The integrated wireless communication supports secure data transfer with 128-bit AES encryption, providing reliable and protected alarm signalling in demanding industrial environments.
The RB-X15 version is a high-output xenon beacon housed in a robust IP66 corrosion-resistant aluminium enclosure. This makes the RadioBeacon suitable for hazardous area signalling applications in Zone 1 and Zone.
RadioBeacon produces a powerful xenon flash for effective visual warning, even in environments with high ambient light. The field-replaceable colour filter enhances the strobe effect and is manufactured from UV-stable polycarbonate, supporting long service life in outdoor and industrial installations.
With integrated ISA100 wireless I/O, RadioBeacon enables efficient installation, flexible alarm coverage, and simplified expansion of safety and monitoring systems. The solution is suitable for both SIL1 and SIL2 compliant applications, making it ideal for use in Fire & Gas systems, process safety, marine, energy, and hazardous area installations.
