Ex d Smoke Detector
The Ex d Smoke Detector is a robust hazardous area smoke detection solution for integration with standard Fire & Gas, PLC, and safety system architectures.
The detector supports wired outputs including 0–20 mA, relay outputs, and optional local LED indication, with fault signalling available through relays or analogue signal levels. It is designed to detect both smouldering and rapidly growing fires, providing reliable alarm and diagnostic information to the connected system.
For hybrid installations, the detector can also be supplied with optional ISA100.11a or LoRa wireless connectivity for remote monitoring, reduced cabling, and flexible expansion of existing Fire & Gas or industrial monitoring systems. The intrinsically safe hot-swappable sensor module enables live maintenance under power without de-classifying the hazardous area.
