IO4 SIL2 – Backbone I/O Card
IO4 SIL2 is a compact backbone-connected I/O card designed for safety-related industrial control and monitoring applications. The module provides four analogue input channels for standard 4–20 mA field signals, with optional HART support for device diagnostics and configuration.
The IO4 SIL2 is designed for integration into Mimes backbone-based architectures where power, communication, diagnostics, and signal handling are distributed through the internal system backbone. This enables scalable I/O expansion while supporting safety-focused system design for Fire & Gas, process safety, marine, energy, and infrastructure applications.
The module can also be configured for combined analogue input and digital output functionality. In this configuration, the IO4 SIL2 can support four 4–20 mA input signals while using the remaining field wiring for high-power digital outputs, enabling compact and flexible safety I/O arrangements.
IO4 SIL2 is intended for use in SIL2-capable Mimes system architectures where reliable signal acquisition, diagnostics, safe communication, and controlled output functionality are required.
