RadioSounder S1F – Wireless Alarm Sounder
The RadioSounder S1F from Mimes provides wireless activation of high-output alarm sounders for industrial safety and signalling applications. By combining a powerful 115 dB(A) sounder with secure ISA100 wireless communication, the RadioSounder S1F enables reliable alarm distribution without the need for extensive field cabling.
Designed for demanding industrial, energy, marine, and offshore environments, the RadioSounder S1F supports ISA100 wireless communication with optional PROFIsafe functionality for SIL1/SIL2 safety communication according to IEC 61508:2010. This makes the unit suitable for Fire & Gas, process safety, and critical alarm applications where robust and dependable signalling is required.
The integrated sounder offers 64 selectable alarm tones and Class-D amplification, providing flexible and efficient audible warning for a wide range of site requirements. Wireless communication is protected by 128-bit AES encryption, supporting secure operation in modern industrial networks.
The RadioSounder S1F is certified for use in ATEX/IECEx Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 hazardous areas. It is housed in a robust IP66 316 stainless steel Ex d enclosure and is designed for operation in temperatures from –20 °C to +70 °C.
