RadioTemp PT100 GRP Series
A robust wireless temperature monitoring solution designed for industrial, hazardous area, and safety-related applications. The solution enables PT100 temperature sensors to be integrated into Mimes wireless communication architectures, allowing temperature measurement points to be installed without traditional signal cabling.
RadioTemp PT100 is designed for applications where cable installation is costly, difficult, or impractical. The solution enables fast deployment of temperature monitoring points in industrial plants, offshore installations, utility areas, process facilities, machinery spaces, equipment skids, storage areas, and other demanding environments where reliable temperature measurement is required.
The solution is suitable for use with PT100 temperature probes for continuous monitoring of process, equipment, ambient, or surface temperatures. By converting the temperature signal into secure wireless communication, RadioTemp PT100 provides a flexible alternative to conventional wired temperature transmitters and helps reduce installation time, field cabling, and system complexity.
RadioTemp PT100 can be operated from an intrinsically safe battery supply using 7.2 VDC from 2 × C-cell batteries. In battery configuration, the unit is designed as an intrinsically safe Ex ia certified wireless temperature monitoring solution, making it suitable for hazardous area applications where certified low-power field equipment is required. For industrial and non-battery applications, the unit may also be supplied from 24 VDC line power, enabling integration into standard industrial monitoring and control systems.
RadioTemp PT100 is housed in a durable GRP enclosure, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in harsh industrial, marine, offshore, and process environments. The compact and rugged design makes the solution suitable for both new installations and retrofit projects where wireless temperature monitoring can simplify installation and reduce field cabling.
